    Nice job, Matt! My bathroom is nearing completion...the one I started on a year ago. :lol: Two hog hunting trips to FL, a spring gobbler season, and two deer seasons got in the way. Plus I hate indoor projects. I'd much rather build a fence or shed. :)

    I gutted mine to the studs and joists and went with PEX as well. This bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan at all. Our hallway bathroom (one we're using now) has a vent but it was buried in insulation as well with no pipe to the outside. The shutoffs to the shower were hidden by drywall. Fun stuff!

    Glad I'm not alone on this. Sometimes I think the builder had to be the worst builder ever, but then I hear others like yourself experiencing similar situations.

    As for hating working indoors, that's why I try to time indoor projects for the winter and outdoor for summer:D.

    Hope you post pictures of yours when you are done. Would love to see it.
