Thank you very much Keith , WV does have a bear archery season which runs through October 18th to November 22nd, there is also a rifle season but it is only in selected counties in WV.

That's a long archery season.
Pa. has a 3 day special archery season, but it's not in where I live.
They leave the rifle season in for 6 extra days here, to control the bear population, but they don't allow the 3 day archery hunt... makes no sense.
