Almost half way through the season. Hows y'alls teams doing? My Giants are right in the race for the NL west, just gotta gun down the Dodgers
Yanks have been playing good lately. 3 game lead in the east. Getting good starting pitching (which I don't think will hold up), good BP, and defense. They will probably win the East and bow out early in playoffs. They live and die on the homerun ball. I'd like to see them winning in different ways other than blast more homeruns than the other team. They are last in the AL with runners in scoring position.
Well my Braves are currently in 2nd in the NL East. They were tied with the Nationals for awhile but the Nationals and the Yanks beat them up pretty bad....As a matter of fact I am going to Georgia this weekend for my first ever Braves game. We are staying in downtown Atlanta. I am so excited. They will be playing the Nationals again so it should be a good game..I am hoping to see some HR's hit....
My Phillies SUCK this year. Too many injuries. Even with Utley coming back on Wed. I don't think it's going to be enough to catch up to the leaders in the NL East.
I'm holding on to each win these days. Love seeing the O's only 3 games back of the Yankees and still in second place. Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
Dan you are lucky! The Twins REALLY SUCK and the Vikes probably wont be much better. Bring on bow season!
I do like seeing the Orioles doing well in the AL East. It's nice to see a team who doesn't buy their roster doing well. I'm surprised no Cubs fans popped their heads out with all the Illinois people on this site hahaha
The Braves are the Braves. They'll lose 5 games in a row without scoring a run, then win 5 in a row and average 8 runs a game. They're weird. I hope they make the playoffs in Chipper's last year. They've had a lot of injuries so far this year, and they're only 3 games behind the Nats for first in the East. The Nats are for real, but I think the Bravos catch up with them by season's end.
Yes the Yankees have some holes however if their bull pen keeps pitching well .... Then the offense is good enough to get them back into most games...the starting pitching is what worries me down the stretch.
Yeah that's been the problem for a long time. I don't trust their rotation very much. They've collectively been pitching great recently. I just question holding up and how they perform in the playoffs and against what will be the best lineups in baseball. Hughes worries me, Petties age, Kuroda I just don't know about either. Only one that has the consistency is CC. Nova is up and down. Has potential to shut you down or hang sliders.
Have you watched baseball in the past 20 years? The Orioles haven't been in contention past May since '93. So yes, watching them play decent baseball and win games this far into the season is exciting. Thanks for asking. Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
Just remember, the O's have had the injury bug as well. When they all their starters back, it should be an interesting race.
