Rocky make a nice base layer and you can buy it at Walmart. Around $30, includes top and bottom.

Under Armour! Love their gear. It is kinda pricey but works just awesome.
I guess you could get scentblocker, but you're going to pay about 2 or 3 times as much.

As long as you hunt the wind anything will work, I like Under Armour and Scent-lok gear though.

I have gone so far as to take off my shirt and roll up my pants to my knees on my trips in during early October when the temps are in the mid 80's. Also like lastoneout said, just take it nice and easy in to your hunting spot. Remove your hat, keep all extra gear on your back, and just ease on in to keep your temps down. If you have a creek on the way in, stop and splash some cool water on your face. I will not pay big money for base layer stuff. I bought underarmour stuff like 5-6 years ago when it was cheap and I am still using it today. Now, I just find the right material and could care less who makes it.

The scent loc stuff is way to thick for early season, and just un comfy. I would look at the bass pro endura skin.

I wear the Arctic Shield, X-System base layer. Very reasonable on price.
