Base camp leasing

    Anyone here familiar with base camp leasing or hunt lease network has anyone ever used one of these leasing agents?

    I'll never use any company like this to acquire land. It's commercialization like this that absolutely ruined hunting. They are also price gouging machines.

    In some cases if your leasing from distance it maybe you only option....however the mark up on those services are huge and it tends to drive prices up unnecessarily buy adding a middle man.

    Can anyone help me with the direction I need to go to try to acquire a farm in central/ southern MO or south east Kansas for my father and I we are from Baton Rouge La. My dad thinks we need a big chunk of property and I disagree. Can some one attest to not needing a big piece of property. What are some the size farms that you all hunt and deer quality. Thanks for y'all's input

    I hunt a 90 acre piece in central Kansas. We see plenty of deer.

    You don't need a huge chunk of ground. The right 40 is better than the wrong 400.

    I'd rather have 10X 40 acre farms to hunt then one 400 acre farm. If the big boyz aren't there you can't kill them.
