Ok, I am looking to replace the strings and cables on my Mathews S2 bow. I have narrowed it down to the Zebra Barracuda (which comes on the bow from the factory) or the G5 Metrao strings. Any input on which way to go would be great. Thank you in advance for your help.

I'm replacing my Drenalin's string in a month or so. I think I'm going with the Metrao myself. I like G5's products, but I have yet to find someone who has tried their strings. I can be a guinea pig though.

Everything I hear, including from my Mathews dealer, points to replacing with a better string than the Zebra or Barracuda.

    Bow String

Well, after asking about the G5 and the Barracuda strings, I decided to go with something totally different. My local bow shop guru told me about Bone Collector Flightwire string made by First String. He said he has this string on one of his bows and he also has the G5 Metrao on another. I decided to try the BC FlightWire. I will post a review if you want after I have it installed and shoot it some. You can see it at www.firststringusa.com.
