If you've never heard of the Barnett Commando then here's a brief history: The legendary, rare and collectible self-cocking Barnett Commando crossbow has been seen in many Ninja movies and Hollywood Blockbusters including James Bonds "For Your Eyes Only", Christian Bales "Reign of Fire" and used as the platform for Chewbacca's "Bowcaster" crossbow in the Star Wars movies. What makes this crossbow legendary is it's unique hinged pivoting stock, locking arms and cocking hooks with self-aligning roller guides, this allows for faster loading during competition, hunting and target shooting. These crossbows basically break to cock the crossbow like a shotgun breaks to load shells! This particular Commando has been highly polished to make it even more rare, unique and collectible. Also included is a polished 2018 aluminum crossbow bolt with razor Broadhead! The scratches on the bow are just that, scratches, no cracks! The only thing it may need is a string, it has around 20 shots on it but still works perfectly. It's fully functional and deadly! $450 or trade.

That bow looks more like Barnett's RC-150 It may be made off the same premiss, but I've owned an RC-150. Short side..this may be the exception to the rule, the RC-150 sucks the big one. Barnett other line of crossbows from the Wildcat C-5 and up are great... The RC-150 and below I'll skip.
For many hunters, the Barnett Commando crossbow was the first crossbow they ever owned. And although this bow is no longer made, it is still highly sought after by hunters and collectors alike. That's because it is simply that good.
