Well the dream summer continues. Last night my brother, cousin and I took a drive down to his house in Barnesville. We did some catfishing at the local lake for about an hour (until a freak monsoon came), then drove to his cabin in rural Guernsey county. My brother caught the biggest at a little over 4 pounds. This morning we fished 4 different strip mine lakes near his cabin. We each ended up with over 50 bass, the biggest around 3 pounds. We saw a few in the 21-23 inch range but couldn't get them to bite, and also the biggest snapping turtle that ive ever seen (easily 30 inches nose to tail). Not to mention the resident beaver. Altogether it was a great trip.

And we feasted on my brother's 4 pounder:

One of the lakes down thier had a few bigger then this guy. We tossed everything at them (forgot the worms). I saw a green sunfish that would have dwarfed this bad boy, and i think the state records only around a pound? :d
