Big fan of both Band of Brothers and The Pacific. My Father and I watched both on HBO as they were released. I also got him both DVD sets for various birthdays\Christmas. I rewatch them a good bit, love history and anything that has to do with WWII.
They could still make a movie if they wanted to. It would be a huge hit imo. It could start off where the series ended, or be a prequel kind of in the vein of Godfather II. Going that route, Tony could still be in it. Showing previous scenes he was in....OR.....OR.... even putting some of the cut scenes into it. There are/were many scenes that never made it to the screen. I read somewhere awhile back that every episode had scenes that were cut out, & didn't make it to the final episode. A little creativity could make one helluva movie, regardless of it continued, or went back. Tony's mom died in real life before she died on screen. She was in a few scenes on the screen after she died in real life. They used some fancy editing to make that happen, much like the movie Raven with Bruce Lee's son was done.
