I just don't our tax dollars and our country's government should be in that business. I guess it right in par with all the money they make on cigarettes and alcohol. Dirty, rotten scoundrel.
Education and the opportunity to use that education is the only way out of a bad situation. But as I've stated before I'm seeing more and more college students buy lottery tickets. Not more than an hour ago some college students bout a $1000.00 worth of lottery tickets for a 4th party. WTFUWT?? That makes no sense. Not at all. The reason government will not ban the lottery is the taxes gained from those winners. If the average $1,000,000 winner get's after taxes about $750,000 Dollars and you think your local politician or State Senator is going to give up that we're all sadly mistaken. The only way to break this tax crap is to go to a flat rate of tax, A flat rate of tax will eventually eliminate lotteries. Still there's the MPC. 'Marginal Propensity To Consume - MPC' Let's illustrate this with an example. Suppose you receive a bonus with your paycheck, and it's $500 on top of your normal annual earnings. You suddenly have $500 more in income than you did before. If you decide to spend $400 of this marginal increase in income on a new business suit, your marginal propensity to consume will be 0.8 ($400 divided by $500). If the people demanded it they would get out of the lottery business but then they'll tax the company that replaces them. Once they starts a tax it'll never go away.
But you see.... that's the plan. No matter how it comes down the liberals always spin it back to being YOUR fault because someone is stupid. They rant and rave... but don't really want it to stop because they collect money for their giveaway programs. The ranting is to make you feel guilty of being such a slug that would suggest to someone to "Help themselves".
