If we didn't need our health for next week, I would hope saban leaves the starters in and hangs 90 on them. Really fun game to watch if I don't say so myself.

I know muzzy is around somewhere, and I know he cannot be happy with the state of the program

I'm coming around, but still won't admit to being an Alabama fan as I haven't lived here long enough...

ND Bama should be one heck of a matchup, I'd much rather see that than Florida Bama or even Florida Georgia which we would get if ND drops this game...

Alabama hasn't got past Georgia yet. LOL Don't put them in the championship just yet.

Yeah... I am here... Yeah... it's bad... I just got word Chizik has been fired. No idea where this will, lead but it's bad... I probably didn't have nearly as much fun as you did.

I am glad we were able to improve your outlook on the world. Glad something good came of it. Bama could've laid 60 or more easily on Auburn.

I told everyone I knew before the Bama game they could name the score they wanted, and it turned out exactly that way. Glad the season is over and Chizik has been fired now if we could fire Jacobs, I would be a happy human.

Gene and his wife Joni are both class acts. It's a shame it came down to a removal but Jacobs said it well. We just don't believe it is in the best interest of Auburn football to let another year go by hoping for an improvement.

Both Bo Jackson and Pat Sullivan are on the new coach search team.

Any Gump want to comment on this statement made by Saban? He is talking about Florida being able to play in a BCS bowl without winning their division.

Seriously. I cannot fathom how much more of a hypocrite a man can be.

If by similar, you mean the exact opposite, then yes.

He openly campaigned for Bama to be in the MNC last year and stating that winning one's division or conference championship should not matter.

So if Georgia and Florida were in different divisions what would he be saying right now? Kind of moot since Notre Dame won but if they had lost to USC, the winner of the SEC would possibly be playing the 1 loss survivor, Florida. Typical finish to another SEC season... except... a certain orange and blue team didn't even make a bowl...

I see your point but they are slightly different scenarios. Last year LSU was not punished by Bama making it. They both did. In this years example, UGA is left in the cold for winning their division and beating Florida while Florida goes to the bowl...which would seriously suck for Georgia.

Last year Bama didn't really leapfrog anyone, Florida will be doing just that this year and only because they didn't win their division.

All this assuming a Bama win.

If Bama loses, UGA and Florida both go and mimic last years scenario which is fair slightly (Bama only has 1 loss- UGA had 2 losses entering game last year and thus weren't a bcs bid without that auto bid....Bama IS a bcs team with or without the win entering this weekend)

Both teams entering the game stand to be screwed by a loss vs if they just didn't have the game (ie not division winners).

Last year LSU was a lock for NC win or lose, and Georgia had no shot of a bcs bowl without winning (nothing to lose basically)...
