I do not hunt over bait but I do use corn and protein pellets for scouting purposes. I put it out at the end of the season to determine what bucks are still alive. Also I put it out during the summer to see how the bucks are coming along. Then I get rid of everything a month before our archery opener. I always put a camera on these spots.
