Same as always bud... just above Montrose. Were you trying to say "horrible" to the thought of me having to suffer in a 32-foot travel trailer with slideout? Yeah, it's gonna suck -- especially after all those years of tent-camping I'm thinking of going two weeks every year from now on... the first week of the year with my family in tow, and then going back the last week of archery season again to take some friends with me.
No I was saying our flight connections are horrible...3 connections Course having that camper in tow makes it nice to stop and sleep whenever you want
I recalled not finishing out this thread with some updates as to our hunt last year. So I apologize for delay (12 months that is)...we did have a miss on an elk with a muzzleloader, however we did shoot this bear on the 3rd day. The last night I was there I called this bull in to 30 yards. It was a perfect recovery and what a way to spend the last night in the mountains..closures I went to bed at 4 in the morning after being up for 24 hours.. Elk season starts this weekend so good luck to those heading west
Wanna meet up at Starvin' Arvin's this year? I'll be the one with the 3/4-ton diesel pulling the 30-foot trailer. :D Yep, God blessed us tremendously this past year and I was able to pull the trigger on it... Even got a new Can-Am quad snuggled tight into the bed of the truck. We're pulling out tonight... should get there in about 36 hours, as it's just me and my wife with our two boys... gonna teach the oldest how to work a cow call and take him out a few times with me. You heading back out there this year?
Counting down until I see the Rockies...thought I would share another pic for those of you who check back
