Awesome pics. Yellowstone is my favorite place on earth, and I've been to a lot of places on this Earth. Visiting Yellowstone should be a requirement before gaining citizenship.

I will be hitting Rushmore on my way to Idaho this fall...timed our departure so we should be getting there right at daylight. Just could not pass it up.

Great pics and great timing for this string. My wife, my parents and I are taking a road trip to see the same areas. Stopping by mt Rushmore first but then rolling to yellowstone. After that then planning to spend two days around Jackson hole/Tetons. Questions: are there some other must see places between IL and yellowstone ? What are the must see's around Yellowstone and Tetons? We're alloting a day and a half in Yellowstone then two in Tetons/Jackson hole. Reason for the timeline is the end result is my first ever antelope hunt! Please give me some suggestions Tom and anyone else that has been out there.

Troy you should drive thru the Badlands on the way out for sure. One of my favorite things we did was a dinner float trip out of Jackson Lake Lodge in the Teton's (TJ's suggestion) view was unbelievable and the food was great too. Lamar and Hayden valleys in Yellowstone have a lot of wildlife to see.
