Well, so much for me getting the new Mathews V3 for the upcoming season!! tore the rotator cuff in the left shoulder and heading into surgery this Monday! It is left arm, and being lefty its worse news than I wanted to hear! I`ll be back before the season starts October 1st!!
Dang that sucks man. I hope your recovery goes well and you can get in the game in time for season. Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Yes, do what the doc says and don't rush things. In the mean time, come on over to the dark side with an evil devil-worshipping crossbow. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
Meh, crossbows are like weed. You don't have to like them, but they are here to stay. It's those Airbow people we have to shun
I agree!! Went to orthopedic doc after the pain has been lasting about a month. Thought i might have pulled a muscle, etc. After the MRI, I saw the 2 tears in the rotator. It sucks!!
Best to you..push comes to shove a right handed bow and an eye patch. Just listen to and do EVERYTHING the therapist tell you to do. Don't push your recovery.
Went through a right shoulder rebuild in 2013. Follow your PT and don’t over do it , but push it. Had my in May and was bowhunting elk in Colorado on September 1st. Oh, take the pain meds when you get home and get ready to send a few night in a recliner.
Thanks for the kind words. Day 3 after surgery so recovery is beginning. thanks again for the encouragement!! Glenn
Man that sucks, Had 2 shoulder surgeries, Very painful for quite awhile, DO AS DOC SAYS , DO NOT PUSH ANY USAGE ! Take your time, Yes a good recliner is a must ! 6 months after surgery I still had a hard time fishing, Shoulder would get quite tired and sore, After about a year I started feeling almost normal, Yea an xbow may be in your future this year, TIP< If xbow, get a shooting stick also, Wishing you all the best
yup!! typing righty but the shoulder is healing up! its my 4th shoulder surgery ( 2 on each) but its going well. 10 days since surgery and i feel better every day. going back to doc on the 21st so we shall see what says. thanks for asking. the hardest thing is doing everything right handed!! lol
Heal up man! Sounds like you been through this and know what to do. Let's hope for a fast recovery! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
