That's pretty sweet. I wish I could practice out of a stand.

I live in the suburbs so my back yard range consists of a few block targets in front of my shed. I shoot at 20 yds and sometimes 25-30 yards. My stand and bait pile for next season are in a densely wooded pine forrest so I'm just not going to get a shot further then that (most will be at 10-15 yards).

As for my range being in my suburban back yard, yea I get a few looks from people driving by but I dont give a **** lol. Occasionally I'll see a dude in a pickup truck with hunting stickers all over it. He'll give me a look that says "hell yea...power to ya" lol.

Also, I like the variety of wildlife you feature haha

I shot at a buddies house today and it was awesome. He had 8 targets at 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, & 60 yards. He had a second story balcony that we were able to shoot off of as well as a covered shooting area under the deck. He even had bow hangers in the deck beams so we didn't have to lay our bows down. Was a very cool shoot this morning!

Local game and parks hq has a shooting range with 10 to 60 yard targets and a tower made with 4 utility poles. Really kinda nice. Needs bow hangarz and a picnic table.

If I didn't live in town I'd have a permanent 3D range set up with a tower or elevated platform to shoot from for sure. Ideally the platform would have a telephone pole sized post up the middle so I could hang and practice out of my Lone Wolf portable. Our local park has a 30 yard range with block targets every 5 yards, closest is 10 yards. The local high school shop class is currently building an elevated platform and they're expanding the range to 40 yards. That will be great when it's all done.

haha .. my neighbors won't come outside if I'm shooting .. i think they fear my arrow will fly sideways or that they might be associated with "county bumkin" .. lol .. I'm always seeing people looking through their window blinds at me ..

I lean my stand against my shed and latch it through the window up top. I can get a 50 yard shot from the shed and a 70 yard shot from my back porch.

Man that's nice! I have mine laid out to 100yd and could go out to 120yd. I have one bag target and a worn out 3D buck. I hope to do an actual 3D course on my property in the next year. It will be nice to walk out to a 20 target course!! It will be for public 3D shooters as well though and be part of a new coalition if we are able to get everything done by next 3D season that is.

You have a Really nice set up! Good work!!

    Looks great.
What are the buckets, other targets or are you feeding the pig and deer?

Awesome course! You guys ever worry about the rain/weather affecting your targets?

This is what I set up and use at least twice a week....the best I can get is a 30-35yd shot and that's with my left leg being higher then the right (I'm a lefty) as it's on a incline..but I have it set up from my kids swing set at 20yds....and that's my normal practice....kinda resembles a tree stand level shot.....
