These deer are RIGHT behind my house..Problem is, I can't hunt them here! I've asked the landowner a few times, i've even offered him money, but he won't let me hunt it :argue:...I see some nice bucks in this field every year so I just get to shoot them with my camera. I can hunt the next property over, but it's not that great and doesn't hold the deer much.

This field has been hay for years, but this year he decided to plant corn for some reason. I guess all I can do is hunt the next property over and hope they pass through sometime.

:tu:Post any pictures that you may have of backyard bucks:tu:

Use a drag during season to lure him your way if you can walk on that property.

Are you allowed to use minerals where you are? If so I would put a mineral station out to try and start drawing him over! Once that corn gets high enough it will be a big bedding area this year instead of your usualy hay so if I were you I would be STOOKED!!!!

Thanks for the tips guys! I do have a mineral station but i've never seen any of these bigger bucks there. Hopefully they'll start showing up when the corn's taller like you said Rutin..

There's usually a three-legged buck that I see, he should be pretty big this year but I haven't seen him yet.

Maybe the landowner will tire of his crop being devoured by the deer and will want some quality control.

    Sweet.....Go get "em!!!!

I would try talking to the owner again. All he can do is say no. Will he allow you on his property if you have to track one after you shoot it on your property?

I've already asked him a few times about deer hunting, shed hunting, and turkey hunting so I don't really want to annoy him any more..I'm sure he would let me track one if it ran onto his property; he just won't let me hunt his property.

That one has a tremendous amount of growth already! How close is the property that you can hunt in relation to where this corn field is? Depending on surrounding terrain, like someone else mentioned, this may become his mid-day bedding area until that corn is picked. You may be able to locate a spot to slip in on your property between him and this corn field and catch him possibly coming in or leaving.

The properties I hunt are around 1/4-1/2 a mile from this... It's mostly corn fields that I can hunt..It's this cornfield, a big pine forest, a road, then the corn field that I can hunt..
