    Has anyone tried this before? it is a no till seed powered by evolved harvest. looking for something I can put in the woods without tilling

    Throw and Grows are about 80% ryegrass. Rye grass grows very quickly and on top of the ground .... it's easy to establish(but not the most nutritious thing for them). If possible, i'd just go and buy some ryegrass seed from your local Co-op if that's what you want. Heck of a lot cheaper.

    Deer have a harder time digesting rye grass. It's usually a last resort for them to eat. I never plant it.

    Not to mention it's hard to get rid of once it's established.
