I need some ideas for a backseat bow rack. My meat wagon is a '02 Toyota Tacoma Regular Cab. That being said their isn't that much room behind the seat or anywhere else for that matter. I was thinking about using hangers for 4-wheeler racks but I don't really like any of them and am afraid it won't hold my bow as secure as I want it to. I found a product called the Bowkaddy at Alaris Concepts - Bowkaddy and really like the idea but it is kind of on the expensive side. I also am not sure if I would have enough room behind the seat to mount it and have room to place my bow in it. Any ideas????

Tool box for the truck bed that will fit your bow case.

I have a toolbox in the back of my ford ranger. I found a bow case that will slide under the toolbox, keeps it out of the way and somewhat hidden from people walking by.

This seems like the most logical and cost effective solution.

Yeah found the toolbox online for like $25 and traded for the case so worked out well for me.

I do like the idea of the toolbox. The only problem I have with that is I have a camper top over the bed. I don't want to get rid of that because it really works out good for when it rains and stuff. I usually have someone with me when we go usually my father or our hunting buddy so we just toss all our gear in the bed and don't have to worry about it getting wet if it does rain. My bow wont fit into my current bow case due to the stabilizer I am using. I can take it off and on every time but that is a last resort. Every case that I have looked at will have the same problem. I was wanting something I could bolt to the back of the cab behind the seat so I could stick it there out of the way.

    Thanks for the input though!

You have a topper then you are set. I throw all of my stuff in my bed, lock the topper and don't worry about it. Works well for me.

Have you ever looked at a knuckle for your stabilizer? It will allow you to quickly fold your stabilizer down without removing it

I have looked at disconnects but none of them will work because you have to turn them. I shoot a Stokerized SS1 so I dont have enough room to turn the stabilizer for it to lock down.
