I am looking to purchase a black backpack for turkey and deer hunting this year. But before I do, I want to know your opinion on does color matter? I may be over thinking this but idk if deer will pick out a black backpack hanging 20ft up in a tree with me or not. Thoughts? Experiences? Thanks

I have a solid dark green backpack I use, never had an issue. Don't sweat it.

Blue is the main color you want to worry about. Deer see it say the experts.

Nope you will be fine. Not that it's always possible, but you can try to hang the bag on the opposite side of the tree from where you think the deer will be (if it gets in your head). With that said, if they see anything... wit will be you :D.

It's fine for deer hunting. Like Dubbya said, you can just hang it on the back of the tree if it seems to stand out.

I'm no expert on turkeys, but I've had them bust me from quite a distance. I'd be sure to cover it with some brush.

If they notice it, to me that means they are already in range and you should be shooting by then!
