    Play the wind, use DDW in your hair, wear merino base, Sitka..Enough Said. - Glass b4 you move and move slowly, consider the pack out and your abilities, take enough food and water, beat the greylight and don't leave the field until you can not see your pins. Back out if needed and pursue the buck you bump. The best "Tactic" is the one that results in a rush down the hill with an aching body and cooler full of meat. ... Stay Warm and take care of your feet.

    I'm not in Colorado, but will be high on the mountains this season. I have my brother in law and possibly his brother in law on board. Our current plan is to find a spot that will be a relatively short and simple hike in to a base camp. We will go up throughout the pre-season and prep our camp so all we have to for is carry a little bit of gear in. Muleys go high during the summer before the rut, mostly in bachelor herds. The rut and winter brings them together and low. That's our plan is the late season Archery hunt.
