Bow in hand and two options...it has rained about 6 inches here in the last 4 days...the sun is out and will be all week...I believe the rut is just getting fired up here from what I have seen and been told.. I have a thicket that I have only hunted 2 times this year early season, back in Sept I bumped a great buck in there and got out fast...I went back in there last Sun to pick out a tree b/c they are hard to come by, most are small, this thicket is an overgrown field from 20 yrs ago...anyway, I bumped a deer wehile in there, don't know what though.. should I go with it and hunt the thicket and try to go in quietly..?? or should I go to another piece where I saw a great buck a week ago cruising...he wasn't as big as opt 1 but he was a shooter..Opt 1 is a smaller place and can be a plus or a negative...

Go get em Landon. I am going to be in the woods half a day Tuesday, and for a short mid-day hunt on Wed. I think I might finally see some chasing. I am very excited to try and arrow another buck on my home turf. I want to get it done.....and I really think you will have your best chance this week...good luck!

Thanks Brett. I hope so, I think the rut is in full swing, lots of chasing going here.
