Last week I spent 4 days chasing bucks in Kansas. The first night I let a deer walk that I probably shouldn't have, he was an 8pt in the mid 130's. Basically I just didn't realize that he was that big until he got broadside and I could see his G3's. I saw several other deer after that in the mid to high 120's, but I know what kind of bucks are in that area and I didn't go to kill a mediocre deer. Both the guys I was with killed nice deer, so I'm headed back out to give it another shot. From the truck in 4 days, we saw a ton of deer that were 130 or larger... I won't tell you the number so as to keep my credability (the little that I have :d :d :d ). Anyway, wish me luck and I'll give an update if I can. Here are the two deer my buddies killed last weekend...
Good luck in Kansas Dubbya.I love the dark basket rack on that 1st bruiser. Is that a left handed Trykon I see in that 2nd picture?
Nice Dubs! I know how it feels to be the odd man out. Todd and Mike are both tagged out in IL and I haven't shot a buck yet. Bastids. :mad1: Good luck on your trip back and when you smoke a big one, try to smile! :D
Not quite, but your close it's a left handed LazerTec There's some saying about "saving the best for last" or something like that, so I'm thinking that means good things for you and me. I'm also the only one on Team 12 that hasn't killed a buck yet. I promise I'll smile, I'm not that tough.
