I'll be honest the Blade saga is one I anticipate each year Fitz'...I for one know no matter how this story ends it is the truest of examples as to why we love this sport some cannot wrap their head's around. It's cases like this one that make a part of you almost wish it doesn't close...we had one melt into only memories last season after 3 years of a story with him...did he die we'll never know...but a part of me almost likes it that way better than if I'd harvested him. Oh the mornings spent hoping for that sliver of motion working through the brush as the sun slides through showing him coming my way, priceless!
Way to go Fitz...getting everyone all jacked up again!!! can't wait to see more pictures. Keep them coming!!!
Hey Fitz - great deer. I have a question - how far away from where you hunted them in the fall and were getting pictures of them in November are these summer pics coming? Seems like a lot of our bigger bucks seem to kind of move a bit from hunting season to the summer. Good luck on them!
That pic of Buster from Nov is 300 yards from the velvet pics. His old pic with the busted rack in Dec is the same spot. Blade hangs around there until mid Oct. The only place I've found him after ther is about 2 miles away. Different deer have different preferences. Some stay put, others move
