"The time is roughly 10:30 PM here at my desk in southwest Michigan. My work night will be over shortly, by midnight usually. I work in an office space - far away from the wilderness I am comfortable in. Though there is a small patch of woods outside the window here, and that helps. I can sometimes drift away there, from my chair to the tiny patch of woods. I imagine I am up in a tree stand waiting for that buck. Or that it is spring time and I am scouting for whitetail sign. Or I am plowing the field on the edge of the tree line in preparation of planting seeds in hopes of growing a lush field of clover for the deer to enjoy. None of that is reality though. The reality is that I am still sitting in this chair, far away from the wilderness I am comfortable in. Soon though… soon. I'll see it again." Hello everyone - New member from Michigan here. My name is Robert, I run facebook.com/backinthepines and the website backinthepines.com that will be launched on March 31st. I am an avid bow hunter, writer, outdoor photographer, and all around adventurer. Cheers
