Well guys just a quick note about our 23 days in Illinois. Steve and I hit Illinois on Oct.23 saw a 170 class the first morning then came the heat wave and then the rains 5 inchs in 3 days and flooded all the feilds ever try walking through clay with 80 pounds of stand and camera equipment it sucks.. Out of the 23 days I got to hunt 2 1/2 days and I saw a 180 10pt a 150 10pt and a 150/160 10pt I passed on the first 150 10pt it was at first camera light and the footage would not have been what it should be and we had 2 180's running around that I wanted bad even with only 2 days of hunting. The last morning yesterday I had 2 hours of hunting only and wouldn't you the 150/160 came in to our decoy he came from over 100 yards and that big buck insight he stopped at 50 yards I can shoot 50 with no probelem but he stopped with a tree branchs in the way and he then stomped at the decoy and walked out to 70 yards and out of range. But I got to film my buddy on some great bucks but best of all my daughter has been hounding me when I was going to take her to Illinois so I payed her way and bought her a tag and she killed her first buck with a bow an Illinois 8pt and to say we were both happy as heck is an under statement..
