I just about got my new sight set. I got it paper plate accurate so it's good enough for hunting while I do some fine tuning.
Welcome Rodney, that should make the whole team and I'm not going to lie I think we got a chance. !! I'll try to work on an avatar this Sunday maybe.
I've almost talked myself out of using the Swhackers and sticking with my simple-effective-no-moving-parts PhatHeads.
2 more days till I finally get to leave work. 3 days from now I should have most of my cameras checked and hopefully 1 stand hung (have 3 ready to go, need to set up probably 2-3 more while im off). Cant wait to be off this gas well and in the woods. Time goes so slow out here!
not gonna lie skimming through posts I thought you asked for hard porn pics. Now as for horn, I don't know, will know soon though. My buddy in Pittsburgh did, and I think I seen one 2 weeks ago driving down here that was hard horn already. But was driving and hard to tell.
If you want to shoot a hell of a mech. BH go with Xecutioner. I promise you wont be let down. Our 8 pointer just came back this week. he has been gone for a month and we just got him back on camera in the last few days.
I hunted Saturday morning, and saw a doe/yearling, and a four point at our lease... Cant wait for October to roll around and cool it down some, ready for some rut action!
Checked my cams today, still in velvet as per usual, they'll be shedding here in a week or so I think. Have early goose, teal, and dove season opening this Saturday in 90 degree weather so not sure how apt i will be to go out in that
Pulling card sunday. will let you know what I got going on. even tho patterns will change hoping minerals will hold some in .
Posting from a tree. Opening day today. Don't have real high hopes. The weather isn't right yet. Got into the 90s today. Kinda hard to hide stink while actively sweating.
Well, I was wrong to have low expectations. I didn't get the opportunity but my son took a shot at a nice buck last night. He missed.
The wife and I went for a joy ride on the wheeler last night. about a mile away from the house we came across 2 bucks crossing the road out of the old creek bed. they stopped long enough for us to get a good look at them. I have not seen either of them by my place YET. one will go 150 easy. the other would too if he had the other side. He has a main beam only on the left side and 7 on the right. I think I know who he is the father to. I have a 3 pointer doing the same thing. one main on one side and a fork on the other.
