Congrats on the doe, yes they are all TROPHY'S! Anyone and I don't care who says they are not does not get it! Beautiful Buck congrats on success. It feels so good doesn't it?

Congrats guys! I have barely been out, I've been spending my free time chasing ducks. The regular duck season just ended though so I will be back in the deer woods until the end of the year. Good luck to all still hunting!

Who on the team still has tags?

I still have one either/or tag and the possibility to buy another if it looks promising to fill it before the end of the month.

I'm headed out today for a mid-day/early afternoon hunt. The moon calendar says best time for hunting is about 1:30 to 3:30 and there is a cold front supposed to move into the area later this afternoon around 4.

I should be able to sit from about noon until 2 or 2:30.

Shot gun season ends sunday and I just sold my Spyder Turbo and bought a Nitrum Turbo that will hopefully be here by the end of the week. I won't be back on the property I hunt until after christmas to give it a little rest time after shotgun season. I still have my buck tag to fill

IMG_20151218_175818.jpg After some snow/rain the tracks and trails that actually get used really showed up good. I moved my blind and camera and set up next to a deer highway. Pulled the card yesterday after three days and found this. I guess rutting activity isn't quite done yet.

The bad part is that all the activity is happening right before sunrise or right at sundown. I'm getting nothing showing up on camera during times I have available to hunt. :(

    Anything going on, team?

I'm temporarily on the injured list. I screwed up my back and am out of commission while the chiropractor works me over.

I hope to be healed before the end of the season.

Still working for me. I should be out a couple times between Christmas and New Years. Hoping for a doe, and maybe get to test out the new bow!

I am not sure if I will be on for the next few days, so I wanted to wish the team a very happy holiday season! I hope you canal get in the woods, after some beautiful family time of course! I will only have a few days to hunt but will try hard to get us a doe, we are still in this and can be the come back kings! Enjoy your weekend and I hope Santa spoils you all!

Same to you, cmonsta. I hope Santa brings you the new bow that you've been wanting.

I'm pretty sure that I'm getting a new Trophy Ridge sight but I won't change it out until after the season closes.

Merry Christmas to the rest of the team also. Let's put some last minute deer on the ground.

Anybody on the team still hunting?

My season ends on Thursday unless I want to buy a late season antlerless tag. I haven't decided about that yet because I only adds two weeks to the season. I'm not sure it's worth the money.

Either my team has abandoned me or they are too busy hunting to post. Lol

Anyway, I finished up my season today. I can call it a good season. I put two deer down but failed to recover one of them. The second put some meat in the freezer and some points on score card though.

Good luck to those who are still at it.

As for me, it's only 86 days until turkey season. :)

I'm still here! I was out last Sunday night and saw a few does. I hunt to the bitter end here in Ohio, and the late season can be productive in my area as long as we get the cold weather.

I picked up a used Bear Grizzly recurve as a Christmas gift to myself. Anyone else dabble in traditional archery?
