Rain is predicted from wed - Sunday. of turkey week. Not looking ot promising for that buck tag getting filled this week. not a fan of sitting in the cold and wet. Cold is one thing and the wet is one thing but both combined makes for a horrible experience. have to see if mother nature will cooperate.

Same here. Rain/sleet/snow for th last 4 days.

Weather is supposed to turn around starting tomorrow. If it gets cold enough to freeze the mud, I plan on setting my blinds out tomorrow morning and be back sitting by the end of the week.

My trouble is that afternoon/evening sits are out for me. I'm thinking of trying some late morning/early afternoon time in the blind to see if that is any good.

The deer don't seem to want to move at first light.

I finally got it done this morning. Tagged a doe. It isn't what most would consider a trophy but I'm excited. It's my second deer ever.

She is already entered in the scorecard thread.

The hard part was deciding which tag to put on it. My archery only tag is good for one buck or one antlerless and expires at the end of this month.

My general antlerless tag was good until Jan 15th.

I opted to use the antlerless tag. Cuts my season shorter by two weeks but I still have the opportunity to bag a buck.
