I have just purchased a Mathews Z7 bow the other day so now I'm looking at stabilizers. I will just be using this for hunting. I think I want to get an axion stabilizer but I'm not sure what size I should get if I'm just hunting with it...My three options are 2"..4"...or 6"....I'm thinking between a 2 or a 4 any help on this would be great....Or do I get a stabilizer at all?

    Thanks Much

Hey man, I have an axion on my z7x and really like it. The bow is absolutely silent. I have the 4 inch and it's a little heavy for my liking but not too much at all. I may take a few of the weights out and see if that helps, but I don't want to make it any noisier.

    Any they look AWESOME.

Go to the "complete setup" thread started a few days ago and you can check it out.
I didn't want to go over 4 inches because I wanted it to stay behind the front of the limbs.

I had a 6" Axion on my Z7 and thought is was nice. I then tried a KTech 7" and what a difference. More stable and noticably less vibration. The HS in the front sits at 90 degrees to the Axions HS and I think it is a big improvement. IMO Axion is nice but Ktech is better. It also comes in the gridlock riser look. I am waiting for a Tech5 to put on my Z7 Xtreme Tactical. Give Ktech a look. I don't know where you are in WI but I would let you try mine.
