So I get out today... Bit cold was 13 when I got out of the truck and warmed up to a nice 21... But no wind whatsoever.... When I came back to my truck I took a different route as walking in was all down hill from the parking lot... So I came upon this just before getting to my truck

Trust me these pics don't do any justice, I could have taken more but was to disgusted... The 2nd pick the head was cut off and plenty of meat still on that Deer.... There was 1 pile where there were a good 5-7 Deer together.... Also a few antlers cut off and the entire Deer still there....wow that's awesome!!!!!

    I'm Being sarcastic, I think it's shameful.....

No I didn't.... But when I drove off there was a public works truck with 2 workers in it that is responsible for the Reservoir and I pulled up next to them and mentioned it.... They basically said ok they'd look into it.... I've heard stories that 1 of the other reservoirs has been having the same issue.... Here in Md there are 3 Reservoirs we can Bowhunt on and I hunt on 2 of them

Not making the call will not stop these clowns from continuing this. The county dudes will do nothing.

That makes me sick... How can people honestly do that.

What is with the cooler stuffed with deer though, seems odd to me they would leave it.

we usually just find rib-cages, leg bones, and hides near our public parking lots ... warden calls it littering, locals call it giving back --Vultures gotta eat same as the worms ----

but never seen anything like that !! that's Horrible !

I could understand if they were dumping carcasses of legal deer, but this seems more like poaching.

Possible they got spooked by a passing car and just left it.
And I would definitely call it in.

Had a very similar thing happen three years ago, on private land. I could see out into the field from my stand and thought I saw turkeys, well I was wrong. I got down to look and it was an almost identical scene. Probably 7 deer some were butchered, some just had the head cut off and weren't even field dressed.

We just got the loader and dug a big hole to dump them in. Hasn't happened since.

I've seen slobs do that on the public land I hunt as well. 5-6 poorly butchered deer thrown into an embankment. I hate people that do stuff like that, I really do.

I've seen this on public land in Central WI. Very disturbing. No faith left in people.

any follow up on this? just curious as this thread has stuck with me as it is very disturbing to see this. How can a "hunter" be proud of this?

Looks like they could have been poaching from the road then butchering the meat and leaving the carcass. It also could have been completely legal and they dragged them there for easy access to the truck. Either way, it looks like they were careless and didn't get all the meat so you should call the warden just so they have it on their radar.
