Just got back from the farm and it was a great morning. Temp was 40degrees and clear skies. I had a 8 and 10pt. 15 yards from my tree. 8pt. was there for about 5 min. and the 10pt. was there for about 10min. Coulda easily shot both of them but not quite what I want. Both woulda scored around 110". Had turkeys gobbling about 100 yards from me. Then 4 does came running through and bout 5 min. later I found out why. A coyote came walking through. Even though I didn't kill anything, it was one helluva fun morning!

How many bucks are you allowed in MO? I am from Illinois and we are allowed two bucks per year no matter what weapon we use.

Exactly! Just being out there, seeing the deer in their natural state and all the other animals is all that matters. Although I wish I coulda gotten a shot at the coyote. Killing a deer is a bonus! Good luck to you too.

We are allowed 2 bucks w/ bow here in MO, but only one can be killed before gun season. Allowed 1 during gun season too, so we can actually kill 3 bucks here in MO.

And ya, it definitely beats working. A bad day in the woods is always better than a good day at work!

In Missouri, we can take 2 bucks. 1 buck before our rifle season, which starts Nov 14 I believe, and 1 after. If you don't have 1 buck before then you can take two after. You can shoot Infinite amount of does. You also can also take one buck during rifle and infinite amount of does. Tags for does are only 7 bucks.
