Went out this evening and sat across a bean field from my brother . He's been archery hunting a year longer than I have and finally started shooting some deer last year (39 years) . I had some pretty good bucks patterned and decided to let him go sit THE stand while I sat across the field to watch the show . He had his heart set on a 4.5 year old 8 point but in the excitement , he shot the wrong deer ..... but it didn't take much to remind him that excitement was what it was all about . He put a great shot on this buck and as luck would have it , it ran the right direction so I drove in and picked them both up . Hopefully we will get a couple more sits in this stand before the beans turn .
