Who've seen the Avengers movie? Not to blow it for anyone whom haven't seen yet go see it and stay to the final credits. Many movies like this have more after the credits and still more after the credits, credits. I didn't stay to the final credits and it was supposedly more after the credits and more after the final credits. I will say this out of all the Comic Book based movies genre the directors have finally gotten it right. SMASH! BAMM! PUNCH! BANG! LIES! SURPRISE! ARRRRRRRRRRRGH! CRUSH! I'll be damned! AHH! WOW! TEMPER TANTRUM! HA! HA! LOVED IT! Spiderman obvious villain The Lizard and Venom plus 2 PS we all know Spiderman was a members of the Avengers? Just guessing will he join them in the next sequel? Damn sure hope so.
Not going to happen. Sony and Fox own the licensing rights to The Amazing Spiderman. I think they will add another hero, perhaps Black Panther. Gotta have diversity.
I watched it last Friday in 3D. I loved it. Joss Whedon did a fantastic job meshing superstar characters and actors together in one giant film. I think the movie could have been a total flop because Iron Man, Thor, Captain America all did so well individually, that combining them into one film could have been a disaster, but it wasn't. All the characters complimented the other perfectly and there was a perfect struggle between each character's ego, and wanting to do good. Finally, each character had a fantastically assigned role once they finally did mesh and become a team in battle, that it was fun to watch each do their thing alongside another super hero. It's got a brilliant mix of wit and action, and all actors and actresses nailed their parts. I was anxious to see how Cobie Smulders would do in her role, though, since I love How I Met Your Mother, and I just didn't find her very convincing. Maybe it's because of said affection for HIMYM. I thought the Hulk stole the show though. But what I was most impressed with about the film was Tom Hiddleston, who played Loki. I may be wrong, but I thought he did an amazing job. He was cunning, articulate, intelligent, funny, and easy to like and easy to hate all at the same time. He definitely became one of my favorite actors after his performance.
You will have to see the Trailer on Apple or previews before the Avengers Movie....if they went Black Panther I would be totally shocked. Because I never knew he had the ability to run on glass on a skyscraper. At least that's what it appeared to me. Or could they have made a multimillion dollar deal. You know "money talks BS walks".
That is a shame, as some of them are quite good. The Avengers is probably one of the better examples. Do you hate all fiction?
The whole comic book genre is an imaginative adventure into many youths imagination. Far as calling it gay, I wouldn't classify it as that. Not all. Whom never dreamed of flying Running so fast you could nearly out run lightning. Or take on evil doing bad-asses or just saving the world. Collectively as whole we have our military. But even the $6 Million Dollar Man made the world a better place. Nall I wouldn't call it gay at all. I'll say that comic books are no more different than any other book and if a kid picks one and read one. then that's one kid that's not out causing mischief.
Avengers + X-Men + Fantastic 4 + other miscellaneous superheroes vs the surprise villain at the end for the next movie?
With the war ending in a truce, the disgraced Super Skrull later sides with the Titan Thanos and alongside Skragg aids Thanos in his quest for the Cosmic Cube.
That just made me laugh. Nerds. I played with frogs and wooden guns when i was a boy, my hero's were athletes, not men in tights lmao.
I was the same way when I was kid, but looking back I would gladly trade watching an NFL game for reading a comic book. It would have done wonders for my imagination and curiosity as a kid. This is semi-off base, but I told someone the other day that when I have kids I am giving them a camera, a pencil and paper, crayons, paint, a canvas, and buying them any musical instrument they want, and telling them to run with whatever one they enjoy most. I wish I was more involved in the arts, music, and other "nerdy" things when I was a kid.
Having heros that played games is just as comical as having heros that lived in comic books. Maybe even more so.
You're making fun of people for reading creative, imaginative stories, which most just use the heroes as a medium to tell a deeper story, rather than playing with frogs and fake guns? Really? And at some point you will realize that the "nerds" rule the world.
As a kid I caught frogs, turtles, tadpoles and snakes. Played Daniel Boone in the woods caught rabbits, and squirrels, Girls were never any interest to me beyond an extra person on a baseball team or touch football. Heh'? Comic books were awesome Iron Fist, Shang Chi, and the Bronze Tiger, Then you had The Green Hornet. What about Sgt. Rock and Easy Company...Damn power went out again holding post.... Power finally back on. Sill I wonder did Bill Gates and Steve Jobs had a comic book collection?
Haven't seen the movie yet. Taking my boys to see it Friday. I have high expectations for this movie.
I went and saw this movie last night in 3D...I am going to go ahead and say probably the BEST movie I have seen in a very long time...and I have never read a super hero comic book in my life.
