Went ice fishing yesterday on my pond behind the house. Was out for an hour an half and this was the result. Fish dinner is on the menu tonight!
Sorry I have been fairly absent here recently. I haven't been to work and don't have internet or cell service at the house. People say I'm part amish. I will be going out Friday if all goes as planned. Right now the weather is taking a huge swing from -8 Saturday morning and its supposed to be in the 60s Thursday. Friday is supposed to be the start of another cold spell with a bit of snow moving in on saturday. Im hoping friday is the day! My first target buck has already shed so he made it thru another year, but I have got a new buck on camera that I would be willing to take. Don't really have any good pics of him but the neighbor said he saw him last year and hes a solid 6 year old. Hopefully I get a crack at him.
Got my euro mount finished and hung up. Really like the skull hanger that i got from The Taxidermists' Woodshop web site.
My season is over today, between single digits and no furnace after Christmas set me back but I have officially came up empty. There was no catch team 3 thouse ya next year in the contest. Good to talk to everyone this year
