I've always wondered why a company didn't make a spring loaded type broadhead like this. I assume the tip and spring compress when it hits its target locking the blades into place? Im thinking all your teammates need a couple free samples just to test out.:biggrin:

U got it right , they take less then the amount of pressure u use on a ball point pen to write. You can check them on YouTube . I was very impressed . Klucky out door adventures , north wood common sense , Mick's custom calls, auto lock broad heads .

Alright as for name thoughts....I'm a Native American nut, well history in general...I'll have more over the coming day thoughts. I've grown tired of some of the constantly recycled style names personally so I go outside the box on some:

(obviously if we have a lady on our squad throw out the 'men' ones)

Moohswa or Moohswa Men (Moohswa is the Miami word for deer)
Sealgairs (Sealgair is Gaelic word for hunter)
Fia Finders (Fia is the Irish word for deer)
Menatona Men (Menatona algonquin for "one who listens well, alert")
    The Rising Dawn
    The 25
    Autumn Observers

Hi! My name is Tammy and I will be hunting in Illinois on public land this year. I am a Registered Nurse and I will be starting a new job in a few weeks. I have not gotten my first deer yet....this is the year. I purchased all my cold gear through sitka just recently so planning on hunting all season. In the past I haven't had the right clothing and freeze in the tree. Not this year!!
Looking forward to a great season. Good luck to everyone.

Here are a couple of my deer that are running around on our farm. I didn't post a pic of the one I've been chasing because I've done that the past 3 years and never killed him. Hoping that changes my luck.
I'll post a pic of him when I have him on the ground. lol

Definitely some great name options, I like the idea of incorporating #25 in the name somehow!
But hey i'm just here for the ride and hopefully to stick a deer or two for the team :) .. .. Look's like everyone has some good deer running around and i'm looking forward to seeing how everyone's season plays out..

Best of luck to you as you try and fill that first deer tag!
Spending money on quality clothing is one of the best things I have done, If your serious about hunting then being comfortable is a huge deal!

I like Autumn Rising. Don't mind Fia Finders though either although I feel like nobody will know what it means. In fact I already forgot what it means. Autumn Rising with a bada$$ avatar behind it sounds pretty sweet.

Son of a motherless goat... would you look at this collection of knuckleheads! It's like the island of misfit toys up in here!!
Is it too soon for smack talk? I think not!..
But seriously you guys, here's the real scoop: Do NOT count on MUDSHARK for any buck points this season. I literally have cases of beer piled up at my camp, just waiting for his Ohio arrival (yes, I lost a bet). But don't take it personally. I plan on sabotaging every single team in this mutha -except for my own, of course! [this is where the ninja emoji should be, but I'm not that cool]
    Good luck y'all!!!
