Carolina lean or squat and yep the do it on purpose...I guess they save money on half a lift kit...lol
North Carolina south Carolina and have seen a few in GA.... But here in GA we mostly have huge lifted pavement queens.
By adding a $100 leveling kit I was able to increase my ground clearance by 1.5 inches by running 3 inch taller tires. I have a half inch rake from back to front now.
HATE the "carolina lift" I have no idea what is so appealing to it. It has no practicality. Also, the trucks with glass pack exhausts or subs...
And those silly lowered bmw's....with kayaks....thinking they're going fishing or something.....acting like it's a truck ....Oh wait...that's mine
Your Subaru with stickers ...great. Make sure they are ones with abbreviations that no one knows what they mean. ....
Just don't cover up the rainbow sicker on the bumper ...I wouldn't want anyone to get the wrong Idea and think your straight.
I have never heard the term "carolina squat", I always called them bull dog trucks. Either way I hate them. They are 99% bro trucks an 99.9% of them take catalytic converters and everything else off to give a "clap" noise. They will hammer the gas and make more noise than possible, yet they do not realize how much power they have lost, and how slow they are going. And they probably have Luke Bryan blaring out the windows. Next trend is these same nit wits putting 2500HD mirrors on their 1500's. It does not look right, the body of a 1500 is not as burly as a 2500. Here is my truck. 4" lift, 33'in tires. Its gets plenty of manly use, but I wash it pretty well.
