UK finally parted ways with Joker....I think to be fair both Chizik and Dooley need one more year to prove their worth...No need for 4 SEC teams competing for coaches. LOL
Make it 5 (Richt) When Georgia goes down to Auburn this weekend. Jay jacobs (AD) stays at Auburn... Chizik stays. Jacobs gets fired Chizik is likely gone as well. Georgia goes down to Auburn (yes, they will) Mark Richt suddenly re-emerges in the hot seat as well, resigns and goes to ESPN. With an Auburn win against Ga., Chizik gets a pass and an entirely new staff for 2013. Dooley gets one more year but, man, he needs a defensive coordinator.
I feel your pain. This year has been horrible and living in Notre Dame's back yard has not helped it at all. I don't think Chizik or Jacobs survive this year, but I have been wrong before.
I was in the Military when I attended AU, and when I got out the job I took was in NW Ind. THe market was not great when I got out, so I took the best opportunty that came up. I gotta plan a trip back again next year as my daughter is graduating soon after and I have to finish the brain washing of her, she was born there and a trip in the fall or late summer will cement her college choice.
Let me know when you guys come, we'll meet for BBQ at Moes or something. Zach swims at Auburn so we are there almost everyday.
Definately will do. I took my oldest down there over a year ago but he decided to go in Florida near his grandmother's house and the beach.
