with the few ATV post here lately, figured i would throw out the questions. Ive got a 420 Rancher 2x4 i use for running around, getting cameras, stands, etc. I dont dog the bike and find the deepest mud and water, but some spots can get a bit nasty. I am going to be getting new tires here sometime soon but ONLY on the rears and in the factory size of 24x10x11, so choice are limited but some decent tires are out there If i did a bunch or hard riding and such i would go with Bighorns...but going to settle for a tire a little less expensive that is decent in all terrains, not wear too quickly, and LIGHT weight. right now im between Duro Buffalo, Kenda Bearclaw, and STI Black Diamond ATR's. Leanings towards the Duros... But anyway figured i would poll the peanut gallery and see what everybody is running and how they are performing
I'm running mud machine bi claws on the front and tri claws on the rear. Their heavy and not exactly what you would want on a 2 wheel drive but they have lasted quite a few years. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk
For heavy trail use, I can't recommend anything but GBC Dirt Tamer or Bighorns... same tread design, one is Bias Ply and alot cheaper, the Bighorns are expensive Radials. They'll hold their own in the mud too... I had the Dirt tamers on mine, they were absolutely awesome.
