I have a can am outlander 500 xt with a bunch of goodies winch brush guards and 27" mud lite tires. It has plenty of torque to pull anything you need it to and is excellent in the mud. I bought used of course, new price on a canam is outrageous. Do a little research on the can am suspension, it is far superior to any straight axle or Kawasaki. if your on a lot of uneven terrain and hills, this is the atv for you.
Grizzly 700 with one of the big Polaris quads in second...everything else is crap after that... Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
So did I, hard. I made my living in the outdoors for 9 years and a ton of time was spent on ATVs. The only machines that could stand the abuse I put them through were Hondas. Between my family and I we've owned probably 20 or more of them. In 2005 I bought 3 Honda Ranchers new and beat the living hell out of them. By the end of the 2009 season I had between 16,000-19,000 miles on each of them. The only thing we ever did to those was change the oil, brakes and brake cables. Bulletproof. We also had 3 Yamaha Rhinos. Junk. They couldn't take the abuse. The 2006 we have we put almost as much into it in parts as we bought it for. It now just broke 6000 miles. The only other machine I would consider now is a Can Am. My dad bought a Commander and that thing is built like a tank. Awesome machine.
I agree the rhinos are junk. OP asked about atvs though. Ive never had an experience with any other vehicle other than the yamahas or polaris that was worth a crap. The grizz 700 is hands down the best overall ute atv out there and the polaris quads are the toughest and have the best 4wd. The others have power but thats not everything. The hondas are gutless and ride like crap. Youd think that a know it all that made his living for 9yrs in the outdoors would know that. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
So, if you're looking for financial advice, do you ask your accountant or some kid who just opened a Scott Trade account?
Is the accountant a moron? Just because somebody is a CPA doesnt mean that their opinion should be trusted. D's still earn a person a degree, just like you working in the outdoors for 9yrs doesnt mean your knowledge is qualified. As far as everybody else is concerned, how many other people out there have the same amount of experience as you? Youre as qualified as the next guy. I was raised in motorsports and raced in every level except pro and in every type of race and I have extensive knowledge of the specs and design of the in question atvs that would make someone else think Im more qualified than you too levy an opinion. But in all actuality my opinion is no better than yours and yours no better than anyone elses. You just tried to take a jab at be and make yourself feel big in front of a keyboard. Its cool........now you can post something else sarcastic with a laughing smiley like youre taking another jab. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
