We've actually broken ground with an Antler King Sodbuster disc a few times. If you burned, you're good to go. What we normally did was pick a new location, weed whack it as close to the ground as possible, remove all the vegetation from the plot and then start discing. The key is to drive in tight circles over and over again. It takes a little bit, but once you start to loosen it up it works pretty well. Also, it helps if the ground is a bit wet and soft. We did this on clay, which is hard to break through.

Oh, if you're going to get a tractor, you may as well get something you can actually do some work with.

Kidding! I wish I had one the size of PT's as well. It would work great for food plots. Mine is too big to get into most of our food plots.

Yeah no kidding; go big or go home! Also kidding, utility tractors are great for plot work!
