Man! Who peed in smitty's oatmeal this morning? No need to bash NCcritter- he's one of us, just trying to have a productive season. In fact, you're no different. On August 23, you posted "I have one ten acre farm like this.." This statement apparently means you own it, by your definition, and that you have entitlement issues. Earlier on the same day you said "Of course, I don't have any property…" You did exactly what you accused NCcritter of doing.

I don't see an issue with how he or you referred to where you hunt. "I have" and "my" doesn't necessarily mean ownership, especially in casual discussions like these. "My spot" may not be on my property, but it's still useful to say that way. The English language is full of implied meanings, metaphors and is often context dependent.

Stop being so d@mn literal, and let the man have his thread back.

This works really well. I use attractants to pull and keep deer on the property I hunt as well. Keep doing the things you are doing and try this ^. Where in NC are you hunting? I hunt in Wake County and Warren County.

Update, below is the pic of the farm(s), I've got permission to the top portion (above yellow line) the bottom is where the bucks have always came from. I've never had a problem getting photos of these deer, even if it was just night photos.

The land owner from the bottom portion has become a runner and he's using the outside edge of the corn field as a track. I ventured over Friday and found he's got a well beaten path around the outside edge of his field. I talked with his brother Sunday, and he's doing 4-5 miles a day around the field.

How long until they get used to the pressure from the runner(s)?

Mineral blocks and maybe something the deer are not used to like apples or squash. Something that isn't growing naturally in the area.
