Nice Buckeye....I get through there every other week. Rob, it's about a 3-3.5 hour drive from us. Buckeye, I'd be curious as to where exactly it is. PM me if it's I ain't prying too much.
Congrats. Let us other PA hunters know if you need help managing the herd. Lol. Serioiusly though, that's an awesome score!
Wow, you and I have alot in common Scott... I have been waiting on an invitation to hunt "THE OH-IO" for a few years now :p:D Nope, there is no big bucks in Indiana County...actually, we don't even have deer, those furry creatures running through the woods are golden retrievers with Rudolph antlers stuck to their heads :D Congrats on the property Scott, that is awsome news! I keep loosing property to hunt around here...I really need to find some other places but they are getting leased up or posted by the owners so they can hunt them. I am pretty much stuck to two different good properties, both of which I can't get permission for others to hunt. The only property I have that I can take different people is about worthless anymore.... HEAVY poaching mixed with 4-wheelers running through it every day has kinda killed that lot.
Tell the truth, you're coming to PA because of all the PA transplants that are now carrying your prized Buckeyes. Mercer is about a two hour drive to Jeannette, home of TP and Jordan Hall.
Awesome, especially since you're on my team. That's at least 550 more acres than i've been given permission to hunt this year.
Good deer hunting in that neck of the woods...the borders of Mercer & Venango County. We do some ocassional deer hunting in the early part of the season over that area. However, I pull out and hunt NY from mid October on
