Well yesterday I put my boat down by the river, I left the chain at home, so instead of hauling it back up, I pulled up about 35 yds on to our property. Went down today to go for a ride and no boat, less than 24 hours. Well I went and got my canoe and paddled down stream, about 1/4 mile down is my boat. So I come up on shore and there is a colony of tent people living in the woods. This is an old park that has a shack a dude who has lived in there the past ten years or so, I leave him, alone and he leaves everyone else alone. Well Six of the tent dads came to greet me on shore. I ask who took my boat, they stated they found it floating down the river. I call BS and go into a rant, I told them I under why they are living like they are, but they need stay off our property and not steal our stuff. A few other words were exchanged and then I informed them If I see any of them near our property again I am calling children services since they have kids living is this tent land. I also stated if I catch a adult on our property that I would handle it. Our pole barn down the street has been broken into twice this summer, I think I know who did it now. I also stopped at every neighbors house and informed them of the tent colony, nobody knew. You have to come up from the river to see them. Bizarre
I love the pure entertainment value this farm provides you with.:D I used to hunt a farm like that a few years back.. everyday was always an adventure.
Duke back in the day when my uncle was alive, no one messed with the farms. It as always rumored he whacked a few people and buried them back there He use to tell me 3 of his 4 x-wives were back there:D He shot himself in the foot once, now that was an intersting day to say the least

From the stories you tell of what happens around your farm, I would say you live a little too close to Ohio. :D
