Attaching Microphone to Cannon Vixia HFR600

    I have trouble attaching my microphone while videoing so that I don't get any interference. I tried attaching it to the top via 3M tape and a rubber gasket but it still had very bad interference.

    I know many people use these cameras. Any suggestions?

    I'm usually using the tubular 4th arrow camera arm if that helps
