Currently the wife and I contribute to a 401(k). We contribute enough to get the full matching amount from my employers. After I graduate, I will reevaluated the retirement plan. I plan to work until 65-70 range.

I enjoy working and never really think about retirement. I am self employed, so when things start to suck, I just take a few days off. I can see me slowing down a bit around age 60. But I would never want to fully retire if it meant I had to live on a tight budget and pinch pennies. I enjoy traveling, going out to eat, hunting trips, etc. All that cost money and if it means I have to work a little longer to enjoy those things, that is fine by me.

As for retirement, we max out our IRA's annually, own a couple hundred acres of timber and are building a cash fund for a beach condo.
