Hey guys here is a short video of me at the range with my new Canon HF R30 video camera and also my kodak playsport which you will see a short clip from in the video. In the first part i was shooting out to 60 yards. Then i was on a platform about 15 feet high shooting at the buck.

Im still learning with my camera and also video editing. Hopefully with enough messing around I can bring you guys some pretty cool videos of some of my hunts this fall. If you have any helpful tips about self filming or even video editing im all ears and would love to hear what you have to say. For editing im running iMovie right now.

For some reason it didnt upload in HD but i fixed it now.

Lmao. Yeah they aren't gonna work to well if you forget that vital part of the process. Haha. I'm excited to see you get your first buck and your first one to be on film is just extra icing on the cake dude. I still gotta get my first buck with an arrow but it prob won't be on film as I'm not at that stage of the game to start self filming yet. Maybe someday I'll be able to afford cameras for it. It just seems like everytime I turn around there's something else doing damage to my bank account. Haha :)

Yeah thats very true. Im just diving right into the filming thing even though i only have one deer under my belt. My cameras weren't that expensive. If i add everything up i have (2 cameras, 2 camera arm/mounts, extra battery, memory cards) was roughly 500 for all of it, but a couple things were christmas presents so im only in about 350 but still i dont think its that bad at all. I do know what you mean about the bank account. There is always something i need down here at college lol

I thought you got a Nitro Stabilizer but noticed a different one on your bow. Did you give up on the Nitro?

If your feeling confident with your shooting Oly it is always fun to go plop that brand new camera on the bag and face it back at you! I bet you really take your time aiming on each shot!

Haha that would be pretty cool and im pretty confident in my shooting. I also have a extra 3 year warranty i got with the camera that would protect it if something happened to it. :tu:

    Thanks :tu:

I know that would have been cool. It would have been better if i got these to shots on camera though. These were my first couple shots at 60 yards.
