The Heat are going to be unbelievable but, if Boston can stay healthy they are scary good with the size, team defense and selflessness they display. It's going to be interesting to see if Wade and LBJ can coexist as they're both so used to dominating the ball. As for Bosh, 16 and 10 average big man from here on out?

As long as KB24 is playing, though, the championship bus will have to go through LA. I know a lot of people say, "had Perkins played game 7 last year..." but, in my opinion, had Bynum been even 50% it wouldn't have even went 7!

We'll see, it'll be a long season. Kind of funny how ESPN and the rest of the sports world is already asking "what is wrong with the heat?" after one game!

LeBron ain't no traitor, he's a guy who WANTS to win, and the ownership in Cleveland failed to get him the supporting cast he needed to win. Make no mistake, he's the most dynamic basketball player we've ever seen, he's a blend of MJ with Magic, the only thing he lacks is probably a little heart, and since he's been handed everything he could ever want, it's tough to instill a killer instinct into him. I think Kobe lacks that "killer instinct" that Jordan or Magic or Bird had, but he is still a great player, and still the guy holding the championship trophy for now.....

I can totally understand where Cleveland fans are coming from! This girl, Jenny, was my favorite bank teller at Bank of America. Well, this summer she decides to go and work for Citibank! I couldn't believe it! What a traitor. I hope her branch gets robbed.

Well, at least you knew it before he left. Jenny never told me she was leaving! I went to deposit my check one day, and BOOM, she wasn't there. I'm still pissed.

    Bingo!

I realize he was allowed to switch teams. I'm just upset to see him go. I am a Cavs fan before I'm a James fan.

I'm not mad at him for leaving, I'm mad because he left...if that makes sense.

You MISSED the rest of the sentence....which qualified what I said. Don't take that out of context.

He lacks the same killer instinct that JORDAN, BIRD, and MAGIC had.....

And yes, I'm serious, those 3 played with a bit more of that killer instinct in my opinion than what I've seen Kobe have, but Kobe definitely has MORE of the KI than LeBron.

I saw that part, too. He definitely has more killer instinct than Bird and Magic had and it rivals that of MJ23. His competitiveness is one of the main comparisons I draw between Jordan and Kobe.

You might be a little young to remember..... I'm talking about the Bird and Magic of the 80's..... By the time you were watching basketball, they were both retired.

imho, its the only comparison that can be made.

edit for clarification - comparison between jordan and kobe, the only valid one is KI... otherwise, MJ pwns kobe

Kobe is with out a doubt the fiercest competitor in the NBA today. Greater killer instinct than MJ? Hard to say. Greater killer instinct than Magic and Bird? Yes.

Saying in any context that Kobe lacks a killer instinct compared to anyone is completely ridiculous.
