Please pray for my 16 year old cousin, Chase Vibbert. Some of you guys from bowfreakz remember his ordeal. He was diagnosed with cancer about Christmas 2013. It was in his jaw and sinus cavity. He went through rigorous chemo and radiation, and the cancer was "gone". It came back about a year ago in his arm. He went through more chemo last summer and fall. They wanted to do a bone marrow "kill", but Chase didn't want to go through with it, so his parents said OK (the doctors told them it would come back for certain without this procedure). His cancer is back again, and he's been hiding it from them. Said he didn't want them to cry any more. It is in his calf, neck, throat, arm, and bones. They sent him to Boston Saturday night, only for Boston Cancer center to send him home yesterday because insurance wasn't sufficient. He is going to UK med center Friday, and beginning treatments Monday. Here we are another week down the road and nothing has been done. It doesn't sound very good, but prayer is a powerful thing. Thanks for reading, and praying for Chase. He's a great kid, I hope to get to spend more days afield with him. God bless.
He begins treatments at UK Monday. They want to put in a feeding tube again... He's about 100 lbs soaking wet at 5-7". Weak as water, no appetite. He doesn't want it in is nose, but in the stomach invites infection. I guess they'll fight over that all weekend. Keep him in your prayers. He needs them. Happy Easter to all.
