:D Seems 3 legged momma bear and her 2 cubs made it through the season. (no pics). Saturday evening in another stand I heard brush breaking in the woods behind me and knew it was them or some of them but never got a look. Well tonight in another stand I heard brush breaking about 100 yards back in the woods and saw her and her cubs. They hung around all evening. Didn't see a deer. :p
Hmmm, maybe they like you:D We have a TON of bears at camp, but they were non-existent during the first week of rifle season. There were 27 guys in the woods on Monday morning, and not one bear spotted. Guess we have to get to Hughesville to see anything
You really need to take her ... add her top your collection of freaks :D Tell the landowner she is gonna eat him one day ... that'll persuade him

LOL She is probably snapping branches though flustration because she is torque he hasn't gotten it done yet. WHEN it happens... I'm pretty confident that I could have taken this bear IF I would have had the heart to shoot her. Where I saw her tonight is exactly where I would have set my stand and where I've seen her countless times. ALL bear seasons are over til next year. LOL, too funny Tim. Your title could be, 3 Legged Bear Kung Fu's Archery Hunter or maybe that would have been the newspaper title. I'm surprised too Ryan except all the standing corn. I knew going in she/they were still around. There was some fresh corn knocked down and Saturday evening in another stand I heard them but didn't see them. You have to figure, I've all but seen them for 3 straight months now. They do have all they need, corn, cover, water and no pressure. Thing is, they are pretty much among people too. That's the bothersome part when momma runs them off this next spring.
